Faire entrer la lumière, rendre plus confortable, favoriser la fonctionnalité. La maison, située en entrée de ville, est un ensemble de petits pavillons accolés en tuffeau datés de la fin du XIXè et du XXè, donnant sur un jardin planté orienté sud. Pas isolée, pas réglementaire, elle est humide, sombre et peu fonctionnelle. Le projet organise un coin jour au RDC et 3 coins nuit aux étages. Aux deux chambres existantes, une chambre et une salle d’eau sont créées à l’étage et une suite parentale sous brisis. Le clos couvert est changé ou réparé (couvertures, isolation en matériaux bio-sourcés, menuiseries). L’électricité, la ventilation et le chauffage sont refaits à neuf. Trois ouvertures sont créées pour faire entrer la lumière. Les aménagements respectent les limites budgétaires et privilégient la fonctionnalité (rangements, matériaux).

More natural light, more comfortable, more functional. The house located at the entrance of the town is made of small attached houses in local stone (tuffeau) from the XIXth and XXth centuries, and a garden facing South. Not isolated, not regulatory, it is damp, dark and somewhat functional. The project organizes a daytime area on the ground floor and a night time area on the upper floors. To the two existing bedrooms on the second floor, an additional bedroom with a bathroom are created. On the 3rd floor, a master suite. The envelop is changed and repaired (roof, bio-sourced insulation, openings). Electricity, ventilation and heating are renewed. Three openings are created to let the light in. Construction costs are within budget limits.
